Washing Machine Failure

This flooded basement was the result of a broken washing machine on the second floor of this Carroll County home.  The point of origin normally has the most extensive damage, but all the water traveled down to the first floor and the basement. Most of the drywall in the affected areas was beyond saving, it was removed so that we could dry out the structure. Our team at SERVPRO of Carroll County set up the appropriate amount of dehumidifiers and air movers. We extracted all the standing water, removed all affected drywall, base trim, carpet and padding, and applied a non toxic antimicrobial to the affected areas.
