Water damage

Late on a Friday evening, the homeowner went into the basement of their Carroll County home and stepped in water. SERVPRO of Carroll County received a call about 11:30 of water in a basement flowing from under the basement door. Our response team was dispatched and we began extracting as much standing water.  The cause of the water damage was from heavy rain and a blocked storm drain at the bottom of the steps

We set up the appropriate number of air movers and dehumidifiers to quickly dry and save the carpet, the carpet padding as well as the baseboards needed to be removed.
